Lubriderm Skin Therapy Hand and Body Lotion PFI48856 Review:
Boring packaging, unattractive name, and branding that doesn’t really worry about a customer like me; there isn’t a thing about Lubriderm that grabs my attention. For years I’ve overlooked Lubriderm, and if my mom who was either overstocked or got a BOGO deal, had not insisted upon giving me a bottle, I never would have bothered purchasing it. “Mom, I don’t want this” was ignored, and since it was free, why not give it a try?

Lubriderm is fragrance free, and truly does not have any detectable scent, which makes it a fine unisex product. Men don’t have to worry about smelling like babies or women. The lotion is a mild, smooth consistency with plenty of body so it isn’t runny. It absorbs immediately and looks to penetrate skin, rather than create a barrier layer of product and protection. My skin looks shiny for a few minutes, and feels slightly oily as if I rubbed olive oil or a silicone based hair smoother into my skin.
Lubriderm looks like it belongs in a doctor’s office, not my bathrooms or kitchen with its big blocky, serious plastic container so I hide it in a bathroom drawer when not in use. I like the convenient and reliable pump dispenser, but a full pump produces a handful of product. It’s enough to work into my hands and at least one leg, but cupping a mound of lotion is a bit unwieldy. Fortunately the pump is responsive to less pressure to control the amount of dispensed product.
This product is available for $6.29 at Target.
What is happening with this company? Always used to be price competitive but now typically much higher than retail. Buyer beware!
